Expertise and Experience
Flagline Trails was founded by Matt Roberts to provide high quality trail contracting and consultancy services to clients across the Southwest.
We have been designing, building and maintaining trails for local, state and federal government agencies and nonprofit organizations throughout the western US for the last 16 years.
We have extensive experience of working on mountain bike optimized trails, hiking trails, equestrian trails, singletrack moto trails, OHV trails, bike skills parks, and urban trails.
We are a licensed contractor (AZROC 329491) within the State of Arizona and have many thousands of hours of experience building and maintaining trails with dozers (SWECO 480 and Sutter 300), mini excavators and skid steers.
In addition to designing, building and maintaining trails we love to share our skills and experiences with groups of trail enthusiasts. We have trained and educated hundreds of trail workers, youth corps members, volunteers and agency staff, on subjects such as trail design, layout and construction, trail maintenance, trail condition assessments, dry stone masonry, and mechanized trail construction.
